We Are An Active Pack!

At the heart of Scouting are hands-on, interactive activities.  In Cub Scouts, there are opportunities to spend time as a family and to do things that help build upon the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

The Foundation of Scouting

Pack 451 has an active program focus on developing character, leadership, teamwork, and confidence. We do this by teaching Scouting skills using FUN activities while keeping safety a priority. Cub Scouts embody the Scout Oath, Law, and Motto.

Scout Oath

Scout Oath

On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Cub Scout Motto is Do Your Best

Cub Scout Motto

"Do Your Best"
A motto is a guiding principal and a rule for living. Do Your Best means trying your hardest, not just a little bit. Do your best all the time. Do your best in school and at home, when you play a game, and help your team.

Lion Cub Scout in Kindergarten

Lion Scouts

Lion Scouts is a fun introduction to the Scouting program for kindergarten-age boys and girls eager to get going! Lions do adventures with their adult partners and other Lions every month. This program introduces youth and their families to Scouting and the outdoors as it builds a foundation of character.

Scouts Do Fun Things!

They get to wear a cool uniform and go places and see things with their families. They play all kinds of games and build things like race cars and birdhouses. Want to learn a secret code? Want to learn about wild animals? GO CUB SCOUTING!

As a Cub Scout, you will be part of a pack. The pack is divided into smaller groups called dens. All of the Cub Scouts in your den are in the same grade and might even go to the same school.

Make Friends

Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

Cub Scouts are part of a Den with 5-9 other Scouts in their same grade. Dens are often made up of Scouts from the same school and form lifelong friendships
