The Cub Scout moto is “Do Your Best”, and our Webelos (4th graders) did while attempting to build these candle holders.
We learned about the importance of having a sharp chisel and how to sharpen one on a sharpening stone. Turns out a sharp chisel is safer to use than a dull one. (It cuts easier giving you more control with less force.)
Admittedly, our projects didn’t come out exactly like the picture, but it was fun anyway.
